Professional Knowledge and NAEYC Alignment Section

 This serves to direct our attention to earlier work that had a lasting impact, and other words aid in childhood understanding. It could be anything from media, books, TV, or videos on YouTube. These accessible pieces of art are not only family-friendly but also often educational and touch on explanations. 

This NAEYC standard does have many connections and criteria, but the goal remains the same: Family engagement and community connection. This begins through building respect. How may this show up in the language, you may ask? When you become comfortable and talk, you put your personality on display, and in order for others to stay, they would invite respect and a kind attitude. These principles and rules go all the way to Teacher and parent communication and interaction. Involving the community early in the child's language development warrants some results. The NAEYC standards outline the Teacher and Community connections.

Simply adapt any of the suggested vignettes to create an assignment.

Community Resources and Partnerships section

 The community supplement. You may need a media source and a place to view such media. My go-to recommendation is to take your child to the library. Here at the library, you will have a wealth of access and media in the physical and digital forms. Here are some videos that may help. Maybe not exactly your library, but you will see that these enmities and areas will have similar areas. Strategies for Families section

 My three main activities to help families in supporting language learning are the afternoon pow wow (in other words, talk about how your day was), watching TV together, and exercising together. Exercising has many benefits and is great for your mental health. You learn about your family through group-like activities, and nothing is better than talking and physical exercise. These activities promote family bonds and quality memories. All of these things contribute to bonding and good mental health in a child. These are the things that play a critical role in a child's development. In honesty, it really gives the child something to talk about.  Now, having experiences like these encourages confidence and empowers them to have a personality.
